Ugh bedrest...

So I was hoping my next post would be pics from the shower. I will have time to do that because I am officially on bedrest now. I don't know for how long yet, I am going back in next week to be checked again.

Basically, my cervix shortened a lot and I'm funneling. Last check a month ago I was at 4.2 cm in length and around 4 cm with fundal pressure. Also no funneling at all. Today my cervix was 2.1 cm and 1.8 with fundal pressure and some funneling, but I can't remember how much. Any is not good!

At least my gd is under control, he's really happy about that. And I haven't gained weight but I haven't lost any either.

So there you have it... If I can make it a few more weeks I will be stoked.

Oh boy...bedrest is no fun! I am stuck in the house because of all this snow (we are supposed to get like 10-20 more inches tomorrow night...you'd think I lived in Alaska!) and I'm going stir crazy...can't imagine having to stay in bed!

But we are SOOOO close...so I am "thankful" that this is happening to you at 30 weeks instead of like 20 weeks...and you got to experience your shower before you had this news!!

Okay just trying to name all the positives here...knowing it could be me very very soon.

Hang in there!!

Still looking forward to the shower pics!

Oh my goodness! It is crazy how things can change so quickly. The good thing is that we get monitored so well that they caught it right away. 2.1 is still good enough that with no more changes you can make it a lot longer. I'm glad this happened after your shower, and I'm glad that you already are off of work so that you don't have to scramble to get things in place. Rest up and let those pups cuddle with you. I have confidence that you still have weeks left. Hang in there!

Wishing you the best! This is my 7th week of bedrest with same situation as yours! We can make it at least a few more weeks! :)

I have been tracking my sugar since week 14... and I am on the verge of being put on meds, not being mobile doesn't help! We will be making a call on it this week!

BTW, is your cervix issue accompanied by contractions?

Every week is reassuring... I hope we can get to 32w and then 34w at least! My parents are with us right now... so that is a great help! All my nesting instinct is being semi fulfilled by them! :P

Take care & stay strong!
